In 2019 we purchased a run down property in the Ravenswood neighborhood of St. Augustine. This half-acre property included a 4br, 2ba 1950's era house that was in disrepair, and a separate 2k sqft structure that was being utilized as an apartment and workshop (later to become the Palmer House).
We started with the renovation of the original house, largely leaving the bedrooms intact, while fully gutting the interior living area. e'd taken on significant renovations on our previous home, this was our first time going really deep. The property

To say it lacked street appeal would be a massive understatement. The whole property presented in such a way that it was hard to see the good bones underneath: minimal settling, concrete block structure, large overhangs, preserved wood ceilings covered in paneling.
